Tribute to Ted Nugent’s Mom Is Unveiled

Ted Nugent’s fans gathered outside a pub in this suburb of Chicago to recognize someone who left a lasting mark on the local rock scene _ his mother. Marion "Ma" Nugent was honored Wednesday at an unveiling ceremony of a 7,800-pound red granite rock with her image and a plaque. The rock sits out front of Durty Nellie’s in Palatine’s downtown.

"It's a ploy, straight up. Ozzy's getting paid to do that show. She was struggling to put (together a bill) because she keeps charging more and more and selling less and less tickets. The fast food chain is to distribute a series of codes offering its customers the opportunity to download a pre-paid, DRM-free EMI track from a campaign website.

UN Dispatch responds to Megadeth's new cd United Abominations

Last summer, UN Dispatch learned that the heavy metal band Megadeth was recording an album titled "United Abominations," which featured cover art depicting a 9-11 style attack on the UN building in New York.
